Why: This ensures timely and fair processing of returns. It also prevents wear-and-tear from extended use which can affect product condition and resale eligibility.
What it means: You must return the item to Solene within 30 calendar days from the date mentioned on your purchase invoice.
2. Item Must Be Unworn & Unused
Why: We only accept returns for items that are in new and resaleable condition. This maintains hygiene, quality standards, and product integrity—especially critical with high-value luxury items.
Signs of Use Include:
Scratches or dents on metal
Stains or discoloration
Any form of physical alteration
Loose or missing stones or components
3. All Complimentary Items Must Be Included
Why: Each jewellery purchase may include branded packaging, certificates of authenticity, care cards, or promotional items. These contribute to the value of the purchase and must be returned in full.
Why: Resizing or customization (engraving, adjustments, or repairs) changes the original product. Modified items are no longer in their original condition and therefore cannot be refunded.
Examples of Modification:
Ring or bangle resized
Engraving or stone replacement
Any work done by a third party (non-Solene jeweller)
5. Evaluation Period – Up to 14 Working Days
Why: Each returned item goes through a detailed verification and valuation process to confirm eligibility for refund. This includes checking the condition, verifying authenticity, and ensuring all parts are present.
What happens during this time:
Our quality control team inspects the jewellery
Certificate and invoice are verified
Refund request is processed internally
You will be notified once the evaluation is complete.
